It All Started With A Cup of Coffee


Laridsuperfood.store is based on the idea that nourishing, plant-based foods can help fuel you from sunrise to sunset.

Our company was founded by prolific big wave surfer Laird Hamilton. Laird started adding different plant-based fats to his morning coffee to increase his performance on the waves. Not only did his coffee taste amazing, it kept him full and energized for hours.

It wasn’t long before Laird started sharing his “special coffee” with friends and family. Laird shared his recipe with friend Paul Hodge and in 2015 Laridsuperfood.store was born.


Laridsuperfood.store still operates as if products are made for friends and family. We believe that the foods you eat should be good for the earth and good for you too. We believe that food should enable you to perform at the highest level, no matter what you’re doing. We promise to deliver on these values with every product we create.

When we first set out to build our headquarters, we wanted to choose a location that would impact the local economy in a positive way and make sure our company was mindful of its carbon footprint. We couldn’t be happier to be located in Sisters, OR.

We embrace the safe and ethical sourcing of our materials. This means that all suppliers must pass a rigorous evaluation of their processes prior to working with us.
